Ridge Reichman Obituary, LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Ridge Reichman, an 18-year-old from New Philadelphia, was killed Sunday evening following a tragic two-vehicle collision in Tuscarawas County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Authorities said Reichman was driving a 2021 Nissan Altima when the vehicle collided with a 2019 Ram 1500 driven by Skylar Nelson, 27, of Bolivar. The crash occurred at the intersection of County Road 103 (North Orchard Road) and Township Road 1277 (Northwood Avenue) in Lawrence Township.

Following the crash, Reichman was transported to Mercy Hospital for medical treatment. Officials said he was later pronounced dead at the hospital as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.

Nelson and a passenger who was traveling in the pickup truck were not injured in the crash, according to authorities.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision. Officials have not released additional details regarding what may have led to the crash.

Reichman’s death has left family, friends, and members of the New Philadelphia community mourning the loss of a young life taken too soon. May he rest in peace.
