According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the fatal collision occurred at approximately 7:53 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 103 (North Orchard Road) and Township Road 1277 (Northwood Avenue) in Lawrence Township. Investigators reported that Ridge was driving a 2021 Nissan Altima northbound when the vehicle entered the intersection and was struck by an eastbound Ram 1500.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and provided urgent medical assistance. Ridge was transported to Mercy Hospital for treatment of the injuries he sustained in the crash. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, he sadly passed away from those injuries.
